Trucking Operations Specialist

We are recruiting for a Trucking Operations Specialist to work in our Carlisle depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting palletised parcels safely and efficiently.
Key Tasks- Drive a delivery vehicle across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip checks to ensure vehicle safety and security.
- Load and unload vehicles using a tail lift and pump truck, as required.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing exceptional service.
- Class 2 driver's licence (category C).
- Valid and in-date digital tachograph card and CPC.
- Good knowledge of Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
The successful candidate can expect a salary range of £14.11 - £15.08 per hour, based on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a competitive salary, opportunities for career progression, and a positive working environment.
