We are looking for a motivated Band 7 Clinical / Counselling Psychologist to lead our Older People's Mental Health Services. The successful candidate will work across two service areas, the Memory Service and Oak Tree Ward, delivering clinical services in various settings.

The role involves contributing to service improvement and development work, working with service users, carers, other teams, and partners. We welcome applications from current trainee clinical psychologists and registered psychologists as a band 7 for a preceptorship role to 8a.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess, treat, plan, implement, and monitor outcomes for individuals accessing our services.
  • To create a safe and supportive environment for staff, service users, and carers from diverse backgrounds.
  • To provide leadership in mental health care for older adults and those living with dementia.
  • To conduct evaluations, audits, and research to improve services.
