Are you looking for a challenging role as a Health and Safety Professional at Rolls-Royce plc? We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team in Derby.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Advisor to work closely with our Derby team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on HSE issues, supporting the improvement of the HS Management System and performance, and demonstrating HSE expectations.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support to users across Engineering, Technology & Safety (ET&S), ensuring that key systems are available and working effectively.
  • Engaging with local stakeholders or resources to propose and establish a governance structure that is fit for purpose.
  • Identifying local compliance requirements and undertaking gap analyses on these and sector-wide requirements locally, as directed.
  • Utilising local knowledge to support development of credible local emergency planning scenarios and responses.

We are looking for an individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated general experience in health and safety.
  • Developing specialism in specific areas such as occupational hygiene, fire safety, process safety, construction, or environmental topics.
  • A relevant NEBOSH qualification, such as the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will be working in a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
