We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our Technical Team in Ringwood. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of projects, working closely with the Head of Technical to ensure the successful delivery of our retirement apartment developments.
Key Responsibilities- Producing detailed working drawings for complex retirement apartment projects.
- Reviewing and approving supplier information to ensure compliance with building regulations.
- Liaising with the National House-Building Council (NHBC) to ensure adherence to current building standards.
- Creating site-specific technical details to support construction projects.
- Attending regular site meetings to monitor progress and address any technical issues.
- Liaising with external consultants, statutory bodies, and suppliers to ensure the provision of high-quality drawings.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, with a strong understanding of building regulations and technical design principles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to produce high-quality drawings.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive project information.
- An HNC/HND or equivalent architectural/construction-related qualification is desirable.
