Paraplanner Role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our clients, a well-established Financial Planning firm in Nottingham. The successful candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of investment, pension, and life assurance products, including their benefits and taxation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with financial planners to advise clients and create lifetime cash flow forecasts with multiple scenarios.
  • Write financial plans with summary advice and suitability reports for regulated recommendations.
  • Support team members in their technical development and ongoing learning.
  • Prepare assessments and advice for clients on defined benefit pensions and support other team members in this area.
  • Ensure financial plans and ongoing reviews are delivered accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • Diploma status and at least 3 years of paraplanning experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of investment, pension, and life assurance products.
  • Good understanding of tax allowances, trusts, and business structures.
  • Experience with cashflow forecasting systems, ideally Voyant.
  • Great attention to detail, positive approach, and problem-solving mindset.
