Farm Production and Welfare Specialist

JCB Farms Ltd seeks an experienced Assistant Farm Manager to support our organic farming operations, supplying high-quality produce to the Daylesford Organic brand. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a pioneering agricultural business focused on sustainable practices and environmental harmony.
Salary and Benefits
A competitive salary package of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, including accommodation if required. Benefits include career development opportunities, a company pension scheme, medical insurance, dental care, access to our healthy living centre, and a generous annual leave allowance of 33 days.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Assisting in planning and managing daily farm operations
• Developing effective communication with all stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships
• Maintaining exceptional animal welfare and productivity standards
• Supervising, guiding, and motivating the farm team
• Overseeing supplies, equipment, and machinery
• Ensuring adherence to organic farming principles and Daylesford brand standards
• Promoting sustainability initiatives and ensuring health and safety compliance
About You
We are looking for an individual with a strong passion for sustainable livestock farming, prior organic farm management experience, and leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability skills. A valid UK driving license and willingness to take on challenges are required.
