About This Role

We are partnering with a vibrant Primary School in the Grantham area to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work on a regular relief cover basis.

The successful candidate will have strong teamwork skills and be able to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher to promote the acquisition of learning goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide general classroom support for all pupils in KS1 and KS2
  2. Facilitate learning through play and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help

Requirements

  1. Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years
  2. Willingness to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children
  3. Behaviour management skills
  4. Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
  5. Organisation and reliability
  6. Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process a new one
