The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in joinery and plumbing, with a proven track record of undertaking investment projects in care homes. You'll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day refurbishment projects, maintaining high standards in our care homes, and ensuring that our residents live in a safe and well-maintained environment.

We're looking for someone who is flexible, able to work under pressure, and has excellent communication skills. You'll be part of a team that values diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

As a Multiskilled Tradesperson with Bloomcare Group Limited, you'll enjoy a comprehensive induction, ongoing training and development, and access to paid NVQ training. You'll also receive a competitive salary, 28 days annual leave, and a range of benefits, including food provided while on shift and a refer-a-friend bonus scheme.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out day-to-day refurbishment projects to maintain high standards in our care homes
  • Installing hygienic Sani clad
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers to service the needs of the care home
  • Working closely with Home Managers and nominated colleagues to ensure that our residents live in a safe and well-maintained environment
  • Undertaking audits and ensuring servicing is carried out on all equipment and accurate records are maintained
  • Assisting with reactive day-to-day work requests as required

Requirements include:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Driving licence
  • IT literacy with ability to use an online audit system and organise work via our digital maintenance app
