The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is looking for a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiography Specialist to join our diagnostic imaging department. About the Role

You will conduct CT scans on a wide range of patients, both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi-professional team, ensuring that all procedures meet professional, departmental, and legal standards.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including those who may be unconscious, uncooperative, incapacitated, or have physical and mental disabilities.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Diploma of College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent.
  • State Registration with the Health & Care Profession Council.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Post-qualification experience in CT scanning.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and ability to continue developing it.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with good presentation skills and the ability to advocate for patients.

The salary for this position is approximately £37,800 per annum, based on the national NHS Band 6 scale.
