Job Title: SENCo

We are seeking a highly motivated and inspiring SENCo to lead and manage the SEND provision across both schools. The successful candidate will have strategic responsibility for SEND and be committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning for all students.

About the Role

The SENCo will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the team of Education Support Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants
  • Working closely with parent/carers and professionals
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to support students with SEND
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of SEND provision
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A National SENCO qualification
  • Experience of working with students with a range of additional needs
  • Knowledge of the SEND agenda
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Outstanding people skills
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
  • Ability to deal with conflicting demands
