Group Financial Director

Hays Accountancy and Finance is seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Controller to join their team. This is a key role in ensuring the financial management of all entities across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a robust financial risk management framework to ensure controls are in place and operating effectively.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly, half-year, and year-end reporting packs to the group, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to group policies.
- Lead a team based in the South West, providing guidance, development, and day-to-day management of their workload.
- Manage external audits and relationships with auditors, ensuring seamless interactions and effective communication.
- Act as a senior leader across the region, taking on a key role in the Bristol office and driving business growth.
- Lead and support group-wide projects, including process development, transformation initiatives, and M&A activity, as required.
- A proven leader with experience in a Financial Controller capacity in a large complex business.
- A strong technical accountant with ACA qualification or equivalent, with a deep understanding of financial management principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team and support their development, as well as work effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to Bristol 3 days per week, with 2 days worked from home, and adapt to hybrid working arrangements.
