**Opportunity for Career Advancement**

HAYS Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified accountant, accounts technician or someone with equivalent experience to join a dynamic team in Co. Armagh.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to key stakeholders, including the Financial Reporting Fixed Assets Lead, accountants, RTR senior managers, head of RTR, indirect tax & financial reporting manager, and other teams within financial services and the wider business.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • To provide accurate and timely financial information to key stakeholders
  • To operate with the Tax & RTR stream, working closely with the Financial Reporting Fixed Assets Lead, site accountants & key stakeholders to support the preparation of monthly VAT, Intrastat, and overhead accounts

**Requirements:**

  • Part-qualified accountant, accounts technician, or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical skills
  • Previous experience in a finance team
  • Understanding of the principles of standard costing in a manufacturing environment
