Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. This role will involve supporting the maintenance process by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns and carrying out scheduled maintenance work.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who are looking for part-time or flexible work arrangements. Our client portfolio includes FMCG, Food, Beverage, Packaging, Chemical manufacturers as well as Automated Storage & Distribution Functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the maintenance process by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns, carrying out scheduled maintenance work and being proactive on the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults.
  • To respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and ensure maximum focus is given to their nominated production area
  • Conduct routine inspection and test of equipment to identify faults and to limit breakdown periods.
  • To fault find in an effective and efficient manner whilst utilizing the various machines historic / information documentation
  • To establish harmonious relations with the operational staff and to work flexibly with them to achieve the required goals.
