Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative Clerk - Payroll to join our team at Safer Hand Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our payroll team with day-to-day administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of client payrolls.

The ideal candidate will have good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, and previous experience in accounts-centered roles or payroll administration. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in payroll management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day payroll administration, including manual calculations and statutory payments.
  • Support the payroll team with proactive reconciliation and analysis of payroll data.
  • Develop knowledge of PAYE/NIC, auto-enrolment pension schemes, and statutory payments.

Requirements:

  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Previous experience in accounts-centered roles or payroll administration.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current payroll legislation and willingness to learn.

Salary Information:

This is a salaried position with a competitive salary range of £18,000-£23,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
