Pressure Control Craftsperson Apprentice

Job Summary
We are seeking a Pressure Control Craftsperson Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our gas installations across SGN's depots and sites.
About the Role
As a Pressure Control Craftsperson Apprentice, you will work closely with our experienced teams to develop your skills and knowledge in pressure reduction equipment maintenance and safety device operation. You will be responsible for completing routine maintenance checks, responding to faults on the network, and providing reports where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing routine maintenance checks on pressure reduction equipment and safety devices
- Responding to faults on the network and implementing corrective actions
- Providing regular reports to stakeholders on maintenance activities and outcomes
- Collaborating with our teams to develop and implement maintenance strategies
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, science)
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A full clean driving license or willingness to obtain one
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £34,141 per annum, based on industry standards and the location of our operations in Paisley and surrounding areas. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a pension scheme, enhanced maternity/paternity pay, life assurance, and holiday plus.
