Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with The Pharmacist Network as an independent prescribing clinical pharmacist in a primary care network (PCN) setting.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated pharmacist to join our team of PCN-based pharmacists, providing support to general practice staff and helping to improve the quality of care and operational efficiencies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership on medicines optimisation and quality improvement
  • Manage aspects of the quality and outcomes framework and enhanced services
  • Support the repeat prescriptions system and deal with acute prescription requests and medicines reconciliation

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Hold an independent prescribing qualification
  • Previous general practice experience and knowledge of legal, ethical, professional and organisational policies/procedures relevant to the role
