Role Summary

We are looking for a talented Technical Manager to join our team at a bespoke wealth management firm in Bishop's Stortford. As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering comprehensive wealth planning strategies for high net worth individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth planning strategies for business owners, wealthy individuals, and families.
  • Conduct research and monitoring solutions within our governance framework, identifying changes in legislation and assessing their impact on clients.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, advisers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of wealth planning principles, including technical and practical knowledge of financial planning and complex investments.
  • Practical experience of complex solutioning, including estate planning strategies for UHNW families and onshore and offshore structuring for UK residents.
  • Qualified to Diploma level 4 (or close to), with a desire to progress to level 6 and other relevant qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Able to dig beneath the facts to identify key issues.
  • Familiarity with compliance and risk management programmes.

This role offers a competitive salary of £52,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus and excellent benefits.
