Job Title: Business Development Representative - Insurance Sector

About Us: We are a boutique consulting firm specializing in insurance solutions, seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team in London.

Estimated Salary Range: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • We are looking for a skilled sales professional with at least 1 year of experience in a Business Development Representative role, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in cold calls, LinkedIn, and email marketing to generate leads and build relationships with potential clients.
  • You will work closely with our sales team to qualify leads, set up meetings, and ultimately drive revenue growth for our organization.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proven track record of exceeding lead targets, and a keen eye for creative problem-solving and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various sales channels to generate new business opportunities, including cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns.
  • Build long-term relationships with prospects, identifying their needs and suggesting relevant insurance solutions.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and outcomes, reporting regularly to the sales manager.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Business Development Representative role, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales process and principles.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and relevant sales tools is highly desirable.
