About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Akari Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional clinical care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance resident care.

Requirements:

  • Active NMC registration and a valid PIN.
  • Proven experience in elderly care, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of this population.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing situations.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £20.00 per hour.
  • A welcome bonus of £1,500 (T&C's apply).
  • Employers pension contribution of 3%.
  • Uniform provided and DBS check costs paid.
  • 28 days annual leave (based on full-time hours, including Bank Holidays).
