Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is seeking an Administrative Officer to provide casework and administrative support for an initial 4-month contract with potential to extend. The role will be based onsite with the option to work hybrid after the initial 4 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing casework and administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the jurisdiction.
- Carrying out the administration of cases, including registration of applications and case management processes.
- Responding to enquiries by mail, email, and telephone on all aspects of applications.
- Seeking and confirming the availability of organisation members and arranging hearings at venues.
- Ensuring case papers are issued to all parties and organisation members within required timescales.
- Providing advice on casework procedures and assisting in collating monthly and quarterly statistics.
- Providing general administration, including support for corporate functions such as event organisation and members training.
- Embracing the multi-functioning initiative across the organisation's jurisdictions.
- Working closely with the operational support team to maximise efficiencies using Continuous Improvement tools.
Requirements:
- Competent in answering queries and providing consistent and reliable advice.
- Ability to work within a team with regular management support and be responsible for own time management.
