Care Team Leader Role Overview
At Runwood Homes, we are proud of our reputation as a leading care home operator, providing compassionate, person-centred care to older people, including those living with dementia.
As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing care that gives our residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence.
Key responsibilities include leading a team of Care Assistants, maintaining accurate records, and building strong relationships with effective communication with your fellow colleagues.
Additionally, you will assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, providing essential physical and mental care as part of Runwood's whole-team approach to wellbeing, as well as administering medication and carrying out medication audits.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care preferred or a willingness to achieve this.
- Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Experience in leading a team to deliver care.
