Senior Data Architect

About the Role:
The OSB Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our Data Architecture team as the owner of the data architecture for the group. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the Architecture practice of the Group as we navigate a large-scale banking transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishing data architecture frameworks, standards, and patterns that ensure consistent Bank-wide storage, consumption, and distribution of data. Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to educate and raise awareness of the Bank's target data architecture and helping to champion the move to a data-centric approach. Preparing, presenting, and effectively communicating on data architecture issues and trends to senior forums and management committees.
Requirements:
Experience working at a senior level within a data architecture environment preferably within Financial Services. Proficiency in data architecture, governance frameworks, and a deep understanding of modern data technologies and platforms. Previous experience in cloud data transformation with Azure would be advantageous. Significant experience of delivering presentations in forums and management committees. Line management experience of a technical team across multi-sites is essential.
What We Offer:
A base salary dependent on experience of between £100,000 - £120,000 and a competitive benefits package including 30 days annual leave allowance, £7,500 car allowance, discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 40%, annual LTIP opportunity of up to 40%, contributory pension, life assurance, private medical insurance, and more.
