About the Role
Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge in the Highways sector? We're seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Quantity Surveyor - Highways.

Key Responsibilities:
• Produce subcontract documentation, negotiate terms and conditions, prices, and programs.
• Manage subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.
• Issue commercial notices to the Client and Subcontractors as required by the contract.
• Manage change in accordance with the contract, including Compensation Event Quotations.
• Submit and agree monthly applications to the Client.
• Liaise with operational and engineering staff to maintain site records.
• Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR).
• Maintain a detailed Cost Plan and forecasting expenditure.
• Attend progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors.

Requirements:
• Good understanding of standard forms of contract.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Contractual and Cost Management Systems (CEMAR, Oracle).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with NEC3/4 Option C contracts and main contracts.
• First-class time and outcome management skills.
• Experience in Civil Engineering Environment (Highways/Rail/Water/Aviation) working with Highways England or Local Authority Clients.
