Assistant Buyer Role Overview

This is a fast-paced role that will give you the opportunity to start your buying career. You will support the Senior Buyer across a wide range of exciting products within Smart Fitness and work with major suppliers such as Google, Fitbit and Samsung.

You will be responsible for helping to manage supplier relationships in line with the category strategy, selecting and negotiating product ranges and pricing, keeping tabs on the competition so we can set competitive prices, analysing trading performance and recommending actions to drive our business, and supporting the Senior Buyer in negotiating product ranges – cost pricing, additional terms, exclusivity, distribution, stock availability.

The salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to hybrid working, holiday allowance, competitive pension scheme, access to discretionary company bonus scheme, life assurance, staff discounts and offers.
