We are seeking a skilled Accounts & Administration Specialist to support our finance department in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience as an accounts assistant or similar role and hold an Accountancy qualification (AAT Level 2 minimum).
- Prepare banking information with incoming cheques and update the invoice log with payments.
- Regularly archive completed files, maintain the archive log, and update the case management system.
- Assist with credit card expenditure, collate receipts for each credit card holder, and record payments onto SAGE.
- Review Estate Accounts for accuracy and compliance with beneficiaries' agreements.
Daily Tasks:
- Undertake daily tasks within the finance department.
- Manage credit card expenditure and review Estate Accounts.
- Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an accounts assistant or similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – mainly Outlook & Excel.
- Knowledge of SAGE 50 accounting system.
- Accountancy qualification (AAT L2 minimum) - Desirable.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum based on experience. We estimate this role to pay around £27,500 per year, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced professionals.
