Job Title: Mobile Power Access Engineer

Our client, a leading provider of vehicle and plant repairs and maintenance, is seeking a skilled Mobile Power Access Engineer (MEWPS) to cover their sites in Swindon and Bristol areas.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled mobile technician to join a people-focused business and work independently with full support. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing servicing, maintenance, and repairs to equipment such as On-Board Power Systems, Swing Lifts, and Access Platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to schedule routine visits for planned compliance inspections
  • Provide servicing, maintenance, and repairs to equipment, including On-Board Power Systems, Swing Lifts, and Access Platforms
  • Perform service inspections on vehicle ancillary equipment using documents provided through the client's system
  • Manage supply of consumables and fast-moving parts, with support from team supervisor
Requirements
  • IPAF and CAP certification for Static Booms (1B Category)
  • Background in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideal for the position
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining professional qualifications
  • Useful experience in motor vehicle and automotive sectors, familiarity with 12v/24v power systems, and experience with ancillary equipment
What We Offer

A competitive salary between £40,000 - £45,000 based on experience, along with ongoing training to help develop skills and advance career. The client offers a range of perks, including bi-annual staff events and other small rewards throughout the year.
