An experienced stone mason is sought by Thomann Hanry, a leading property restoration specialist company based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, collaborating with the team, cutting or shaping stones, and fixing them according to structural plans.

The role involves working on various projects, including restoring historic buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lime mortar and its properties, as well as experience with stone cutting, shaping, and binding tools.

Key responsibilities include determining materials and equipment needed for projects, cutting and shaping stones to desired dimensions, laying stones according to construction plans, and replacing defective or missing stones.

Desirable qualifications include NVQ or equivalent in stone masonry, experience with Portland stone, and IPAF certification.

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as annual bonus, birthday and Christmas leave, company pension scheme, and life assurance scheme.
