Job Title: Cleaner (4hrs)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain designated areas within the school, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
  • Empty bins and replace liners as required.
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the facilities team.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment and supplies.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position, working 4 hours per week, on Saturdays only.

Regulated Work:

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
