Credit Controller

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at Reed Accountancy, a leading provider of accountancy services. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a challenging role and make a real impact on our clients' financial performance.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of credit control, including maintaining the aged debtors portfolio, reducing debt through proactive collection activity, and creating debt-related reporting. They will also be expected to deal with credit control-related queries, investigate and manage them to completion, and make recommendations for bad debt write-off.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of debtors and creditors
- Develop and implement effective credit control strategies to reduce debt and improve cash flow
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to resolve credit control issues
- Prepare and present regular credit control reports to management
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve credit control processes and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in a fast-paced credit control environment, with a proven track record of reducing debt and improving cash flow. You will also need to be an exceptional communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
