We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team at RRS National Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating HGV Class 1 vehicles, completing scheduled deliveries and collections, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all UK laws and regulations.
  • Complete scheduled deliveries and collections in a timely manner.
  • Carry out vehicle checks, ensuring vehicle roadworthiness and reporting any defects.
  • Load and unload goods as required, working within health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Provide excellent customer service on behalf of the client.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 License.
  • Commutable to Wigan and surrounding areas.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • A clean driving record, no more than 6 points, with a strong understanding of road safety.
  • Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of EU Driving Hours & HGV Working Time Directive rules.
  • At least 12 months Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
