Job Description:

Maps Logistics Ltd is a dynamic delivery company seeking a reliable and skilled Logistics Courier to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of parcels to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive responsibly and safely, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and maintain accurate records of any defects.
  • Load vehicles with care, taking into account safety, security, and parcel protection.
  • Accurately record daily driving activities, including hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Demonstrate excellent driving skills, adhering to safe and fuel-efficient practices, and maintaining a good working knowledge of the Highway Code.
  • Park vehicles safely and securely while performing collection and delivery duties.
  • Verify the accurate delivery of goods and scan parcels as required.

  • We set you up as a sole trader and manage all taxation/administration via our 3rd party provider.
  • Paid weekly.
  • Typically, 9 hour days.
  • Paid training.
  • Performance-based rewards - Loyalty bonus.
  • Must have held a UK or EU Driving Licence for at least 1 year.
  • Less than 6 points required on license.
  • DBS check will be completed.
  • Drug & Alcohol test will be completed on induction day.
  • Previous Delivery driver experience.

Pay and Schedule:

  • Per day (Based on 9hr routes): £123.2 per day (£108 + £15.2 Temporary Incentive until 28/12/2024) + VAT.
  • Pay: From £147.84 per day.
  • Expected hours: 20 – 54 per week.
  • Full-time, Part-time.
