About the Role

At dnata Catering UK, we are seeking a skilled Resource Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Resource Planning and key stakeholders to implement a resource planning framework and associated governance across our catering operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate demand and/or supply forecasts and provide recommendations for resource gap closure.
  • Update and review actuals vs plan and analyze deviations from plan.
  • Support the overall demand and supply forecast process, potentially leading specific elements to create plans, rosters, and identify resource gaps.
  • Work with Operations and Ops Excellence to include the impact of transformation activities into the plan.
  • Use agreed planning values/SSTs to create forecasts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in airport operations or a comparable sector.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Advanced computer literacy skills in MS Office and Excel.
  • Relevant experience in resource management and/or manpower planning.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of forecasting and budgeting.
  • Commercial awareness.
