**Job Summary**
Jonathan Lee Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team as an EHS Lead. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global defence company, coordinating and supporting their EHS initiatives across three UK sites.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure compliance with the company's ISO 45001 safety management system
- Ensure the business meets its statutory HSE obligations, including mandatory training, reporting, emergency arrangements, and record-keeping
- Develop and maintain relevant EHS records and metrics
- Provide regular EHS updates to senior leadership
- Attend EHS-related conferences and working groups
- Review and update risk assessments for work equipment, machinery, and operations
**Requirements**
- Relevant qualification in Health, Safety, and Environmental field
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Desirable: H&S/HSE Diploma
- Experience in environmental waste control and reduction
- Preferably, experience in a manufacturing industry
