About the Role

We are seeking a professional Relief Duty Manager to join our team at McCarthy Stone, a leading provider of luxury retirement living. As a Relief Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our development, Wayfarer Place, and providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the security and safety of the development, ensuring the well-being of residents and staff.
  • Oversee the Care and Support teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities that promote community spirit and resident engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support services.
Requirements
  • Experience in a care or support environment, with a strong understanding of health and social care principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring resident satisfaction.
