Civil Groundworks Opportunities with CK Civils

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified civil groundworks gangs to work on new site connection 278 projects in and around Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled teams to demonstrate their expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Job Overview

This role involves working as a complete 2-man team, operating diggers and dumpers, and possessing relevant certifications such as CSCS cards and driving licences. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in civils or groundwork sites and be capable of working independently, interpreting drawings, and managing their own sites effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Safely set out barriers and basic traffic management systems.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and RAMS documents.
  • Regularly update the project management team and supervisor to ensure they have all necessary materials and resources booked for the following day.
  • Maintain plant equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in groundworks or Civils/Utilities.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Capacity to dig, concrete, block pave, install drainage, and lay slabs.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
