Machinist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled machinist to join our team on a Monday-to-Friday, day shift basis.

The successful candidate can expect a salary of 39,000 - 40,000 pounds per annum, plus bonus and benefits.

This is an exciting opportunity for a machinist looking to further their career with a global manufacturer. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, breakdowns, and continuous improvements across our well-established production facility.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Technical Skills:
• Proven mechanical fitting skills, including knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to operate and maintain cutting-edge equipment and machinery.

• Personal Qualities:
• A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
