Job Overview:

As a Learning Assistant - Primary School, you will be responsible for supporting teachers and students in a range of educational settings. This role involves providing assistance with lesson delivery, managing classrooms, and contributing to the development and implementation of lesson plans.

You will work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education and contribute to the overall learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable) and excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum.

Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years is also essential. In this role, you will assist pupils with their learning and provide additional support where needed. You will also maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment and contribute to the development and implementation of lesson plans and resources.

Requirements:
  • Level 2+ Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ/CACHE preferable)
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum
  • Recent primary school experience within the last 3 years
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Clear Enhanced Child Workforce on the Update Service (if you do not have this, we will require you to apply for a new DBS)
  • Able to provide at least 2 references to cover a minimum of 2 years
