The position is based in East Kent, covering various primary schools across the Trust. The estimated annual salary for this role is £32,933 - £37,188.
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Speech and Language Professional to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the communication and language development needs of students across the schools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students with speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans to support individual students.
- Provide training and consultancy to school staff on effective speech and language strategies.
- Collaborate with parents and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Evaluate the progress of interventions and adapt strategies as needed.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that supports communication development.
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (e.g., relevant degree and/or membership in a professional body).
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
