Procurement Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support the purchasing team at our Oxfordshire head office. This role is crucial in driving business objectives while adhering to purchasing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchasing activities including products, materials, services, and capital equipment
  • Achieve key performance indicators as defined by management
  • Undertake duties to maintain/improve efficiency, quality, and service
  • Interact with various departments and divisions to support manufacturing and development projects
  • Source components, materials, and services required for manufacturing and site maintenance
  • Participate in supplier development and relationship management
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience gained in a similar Procurement role
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships
  • Team player with a confident, proactive, and customer-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
