About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Wigan Council. As a multiskilled tradesperson, you will work across various trades to provide a robust and efficient repairs service to our housing stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake duties aligned with your respective trade to a high standard and in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Provide support to other trades as and when required, utilizing your construction-related multiskilled abilities.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance to our housing stock across the borough, working a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm.
About You:
We are looking for motivated tradespersons with a keen interest in the construction/building maintenance industry. You will have over 2 years' experience working in the social housing sector and hold NVQ 2/3 or equivalent qualifications in the desired trades.
