This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced cancer care specialist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with cancer, working autonomously as an advanced practitioner within acute oncology.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinics, ward rounds, and patient reviews to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement referral guidelines and policies to enhance service quality.
  • Lead in the development of training programs for healthcare professionals, promoting best practices in cancer care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Person Specification

  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience at a senior level (Band 7 or above) in cancer or acute care.
  • Proven expertise in non-medical prescribing, acute clinical practice, and advanced communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead service development and implementation of change initiatives.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £53,755 - £60,504 per annum, pro rata including HCA, and enjoy a range of benefits, including access to professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
