Job Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Personal Trainer to join the Equinox team at our Bishopsgate club in London. This is a non-exempt hourly position that reports to the Personal Trainer Manager and Fitness Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Administer fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching, and personal training sessions.
  2. Establish and maintain a personal training client base according to company standards.
  3. Provide high-quality personalized attention to members.
  4. Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs, and products.
  5. Update and maintain the Personal Training App.
  6. Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques.
  7. Provide exceptional customer service to each member and potential member.
  8. Adjust and operate all fitness equipment.
  9. Regular and predictable attendance.
  10. Attend Personal Training related meetings.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification.
  2. CPR/AED certification.
  3. 1-3 years of previous Personal Training experience (preferred).
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Possess honesty and personal integrity.
  6. Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry.
  7. Excel in time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  8. Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly.

Essential Physical Requirements

  1. Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position, which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.
