Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Art and Graphics Teacher to join our team at U-Educate. As an Art and Graphics Educator, you will be responsible for teaching a range of art and design subjects to students in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and curriculums that cater to the needs of students with varying learning abilities.
- Plan, mark, and assess lessons to ensure students meet their full potential.
- Prepare and develop teaching materials, including visual aids and resources, to support student learning.
- Engage and motivate students to participate in art and design activities, promoting creativity and self-expression.
- Deliver constructive feedback to students, helping them to identify areas for improvement and set goals for future development.
- Manage classroom behavior, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the art curriculum and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with varying learning abilities.
- Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children.
- Relevant teaching experience across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (candidates without a current certificate can undertake a free course with U-Educate).
