Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our young people with Special Educational Needs at Stewards Academy.

The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to provide assistance in the classroom and beyond, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to teaching staff in the classroom
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Helping to maintain a safe and organized learning environment

Requirements:
  • Maths and English GCSEs (C grade or above)
  • General knowledge of ICT
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Working Hours:
26 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Salary:
Scale 3 Point 5 - £13,396.88 pro rata per annum (including fringe allowance)
