Job Summary: We are seeking a Grade 3 Community Operative to join our Street Cleansing Team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the manual removal of detritus and weed spraying as part of our weed crew.
  • Support with other duties such as flytip removal, sharps recovery, and maintenance of community bins.
  • Operate plant machinery on the highway and work in all weather conditions.
  • Work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the service, with enhancements payable.
  • Hold a current full UK driving licence and have a good standard of personal fitness.

Requirements:

  • A flexible approach to working hours.
  • A willingness to work in a physically demanding role.
  • Existing PA1 and PA6 weed spraying qualifications or other horticulture related experience.
