Merchandise Planning Expert

At Dixons Carphone, we're passionate about helping customers enjoy the latest technology.

We're looking for a highly skilled Assistant Category Merchandiser to work within our Mobile function, focusing on key brands like Apple, Google, and Mobile Accessories.

Your primary objective will be to drive sales growth through effective merchandise planning, ensuring continuous improvement in sales, stock, margin, and markdown performance.

You will achieve this by:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive merchandise plans to maximize sales and profitability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to review sales forecasts and inform in-season plans
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and availability

Key requirements for success in this role include:

  • Proven experience in Merchandising, preferably in consumer goods, technology, non-fashion, or fashion-related sectors
  • Familiarity with merchandise planning systems like SAP, Compass Planning, or similar
  • Expertise in business objects
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills

We expect this role to have a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, but please note that salary may vary based on individual circumstances.
