**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Clinical Medicines Management Lead. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for the development and education of healthcare professionals working with medicines.

This challenging and rewarding role involves leading the implementation of improvement initiatives in medicines management practices across our central secondary care site. You will work closely with nursing, pharmacy, and other clinical staff to maximize their potential and promote equality and diversity.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of current medicines management initiatives within the NHS modernisation agenda and legislation governing medicines management, such as Patient Group Directions and Non-Medical Prescribing.

The successful candidate will receive support and encouragement to develop professionally through postgraduate qualifications relevant to their role.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Develop and implement improvement initiatives in medicines management practices
  • Lead the education and development of healthcare professionals working with medicines
  • Work closely with nursing, pharmacy, and other clinical staff to promote equality and diversity

**Requirements:**

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

An in-depth understanding of the quality and safety agenda

Time Management

Excellent interpersonal and people management skills

Can demonstrate examples of implementation of change
