Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Hays Business Support. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Logistics Management: Plan, forecast, and liaise with suppliers, warehouses, transport, and customs to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Stock Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing of goods.
- Main Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related issues and concerns.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to internal colleagues on stock issues, including expiry dates, stock quantities, sales, and stock coverage.
- Order Management: Collate and send orders and sales information received from pre-wholesalers each morning.
- Liaison with Finance: Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate stock quantities, orders, claims, deliveries, and destructions.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy in all tasks.
- Computer Literacy: Possess strong computer skills, with previous experience in Microsoft Office preferred.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a proven track record of achievement and performance in a similar role.
