Internal Account Manager Opportunity

212 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Internal Account Manager to join our client's busy team based in Dudley. Our client is a well-established distributor providing high-quality manufactured goods and consumables to a wide range of customers.

The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of selling products effectively, ideally within manufacturing/industrial markets. Key responsibilities include:

  • Quoting customers over the phone and by email
  • Upselling where appropriate (associated products, increased quantities, etc.)
  • Promoting the current marketing initiative
  • Chasing unanswered quotes
  • Discussing high-value quotes with the line manager
  • Supporting the overall effective and efficient functioning of the sales department
  • Chasing deliveries
  • Source products worldwide
  • Problem-solve and find innovative solutions
  • Input and book orders
  • Develop strong customer relationships; potential to visit customers or coordinate visits by senior team members
  • Handle ad-hoc duties as needed

Working hours include Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 or 09:00-17:30, 1 in every 7 Saturday mornings (09:00-12:00), and an 'On Call' rota (after probation period - paid extra). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive/Account Manager to join our client's team.
