The NHS North West London Integrated Care Board is seeking three experienced and skilled professionals to join its safeguarding team as Designated Nurses for Safeguarding Children.

Job Overview

The successful candidates will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer Directorate to provide expert advice and support across the North West London health economy, ensuring the highest standards of care for children.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic leadership in safeguarding children, working closely with partner agencies such as the police and local authority.
  • Contributing to the work of the Safeguarding Children Partnerships, providing advice and support as required.
  • Working collaboratively across teams to ensure effective safeguarding practices are implemented.
Person Specification

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Experience working at a professional level in the NHS, preferably in a safeguarding specialist role.
  • Educated to Master's level or equivalent, with evidence of post-basic continuing professional development.
  • Extensive knowledge of national/local safeguarding children procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to create solutions and resolve problems.
  • Ability to manage finances and staff effectively.
  • Intermediate keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Salary: £67,950 - £78,028 per annum. Estimated salary range based on industry averages.
